So, as it seems, for the second time, Time Magazine has awarded me as their "Person of The Year". so I've got 2003 AND 2006 now. I just don't know what to say. I'm truly honored... but honestly... can't you find something better? What is up with this careful neutrality compiled with reader gratification? Aren't we supposed to expect more from the flagship publication of the largest media corporation in the country (I suspect the world)? Don't get me wrong. I've got to secure some steady work and these awards are going on my resume. I worry that it sounds like bullshit enough for people to throw it out, but if they do some research... they will find that I'm absolutely telling the truth. A creative sense of humor is really all I can hope to convey, but sometimes that's just enough.
